Honey bees
If you are a beginner beekeeper and need some one on one help, this might be the session for you.
If you've had a hive for a while and need some extra help knowing what to do when, this might be the session for you.
This session is all about getting you familiar and comfortable with taking care of your hive. You'll receive lots of tips & tricks from a seasoned beekeeper.
$100 per session. Session is 1 hour long at the location of the hive.

Live Hive Tour
With this session, you will get up close and personal with the bees.
This experience is a one hour tour of the beehive.
Minimum of 2 people and max of 5 people per tour.
$30 per person.
If you don't have a bee suit, we will have one available for you to use. If you do have a bee suit, please bring it.

This is for the treatment of ONE honeybee hive. Cost is $25 for first hive & $5 for each additional hive. If you have more than one hive, please contact us immediately after scheduling this appointment. A separate invoice will be sent to you for the additional hives.
We will travel within 30 miles of zip code 43056. A travel fee of $25 will be invoiced separately for locations outside of the 30 miles of zip code 43056.
Treatment timing: Treatment should be completed when the population of the hive is decreasing. Usually in the pre-winter months (October & November).
Honey super will need to be removed before treatment is given. We will not remove honey supers. If not removed, treatment will be given with honey super in place.
What to expect: Treatment is with Oxalic Acid. A vaporizer will be used to fumigate the hive. This will not harm the bees but will kill the veroa mites before winter.
When completing the questions upon booking, please add the address of the hive location.
