A Simply Natural Summer Wedding

When Camryn and Parker first laid eyes on the gorgeously inviting property here at 22 Acres Farm, they immediately sensed that it was the perfect place for their natural summer wedding. Camryn recalls, “22 Acres felt like us. It was rustic and simple, but in the best way.” Thus, the couple felt certain that this was the ideal place to bring their vision to life.

How Love Took Flight for the Air Force Couple

No love story is complete without an unforgettable first meeting, and Camryn and Parker’s is certainly a memorable one. They first met in 2019 in Virginia at the Air Force Academy preparatory school Camryn was attending. Parker, who had graduated two years before, had returned for a reunion. While there, he and other alumni led a grueling military-style physical training session in the pouring rain. Afterward, Camryn called her mom, saying, “It was the worst couple hours of my life, but the guy yelling at me was so cute!”

The two later attended the U.S. Air Force Academy together as cadets. Although they didn’t talk much at the time, love was just around the corner. They reconnected at a country bar in Colorado Springs in 2021, and the rest is history.

Fireworks and Forever

Parker proposed to Camryn on the 4^th of July after the two returned from the Granville fireworks display, so they chose July 5^th for their wedding date—exactly one day after their third anniversary. As preparations began, the warm July air buzzed with anticipation of the exciting and joyous occasion that was about to unfold.

Camryn and Parker selected the barn as the location for both the ceremony and reception because they love the way it brings “sophistication and country together in a gorgeous way.” To fit their “simple, natural, rustic” style, they opted for wood accents and family-grown flowers throughout the space.

At last, the joyous event was at hand. Family and friends gathered in the upper level of the Barn to witness Camryn and Parker exchange vows as warm and sweet as the summer breeze.

From Ceremony to Celebration

As the upper level of the barn was quickly transformed from ceremony to reception, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour downstairs. Meanwhile, the photographer whisked the newlyweds, wedding party, and family away for timeless portraits amidst the breathtaking scenery around 22 Acres Farm.

A Heartfelt Reception

Once the happy couple was welcomed to their reception, it was officially time to celebrate! After first dances, the caterers served hungry guests a delectable pizza buffet. Then it was time for cake, toasts, and a down-to-earth celebration full of music, laughter, love, and joy.

A Magical End to a Perfect Day

As the day faded into evening, the breathtaking glow of the barn reflected the bright spark of love inside the hearts of each person in attendance. Soon, it was time to wish the couple a fond farewell as they embarked on their new life together as husband and wife.
