Morgan and Joshua’s Enchanting Wedding Journey
Last September, 22 Acres Farm was fortunate to play a significant role in Morgan and Joshua’s enchanting wedding journey. Our venue provided a serene wedding backdrop as their love story blossomed into a tale of forever.
A Lifelong Connection
Enchanting endings often begin serendipitously. For Morgan and Joshua, it all began in high school English class. Joshua, the quiet jock, and Morgan, the outgoing social butterfly, found an unexpected spark that grew stronger over time. Jokingly, Morgan once stole his pencil during class, which led to Joshua messaging her through Instagram, initiating a connection that would last a lifetime.
An Easter Surprise
“I planned our whole wedding before he even proposed,” Morgan recalled.
A month after her surgery, Morgan’s family planned to take family photos on Easter 2022. When that day arrived, she could tell Joshua had something on his mind. Even when his parents and siblings arrived, she still couldn’t figure out what surprise awaited her.
With an innocent sounding request from her mom to have Morgan make sure everyone could be seen in the photo, Joshua had the perfect distraction to carry out his plan. When she turned around, Joshua was on one knee, holding his great grandmother’s ring, who had passed away the previous year. It was a magical moment, just as enchanting as their upcoming wedding day.
Finding Your Perfect Venue
As locals, Morgan and Joshua witnessed the transformation of our Barn firsthand, falling in love with the enchanting ambiance that ultimately became the backdrop for their special day. Despite seeing the space from a distance, the couple toured 22 Acres Farm beforehand, giving them the opportunity to see the space in person, and address questions they may have.
They also discovered firsthand that while research is essential, experiencing the space in person is transformative. Reflecting on their experience, Morgan and Joshua offer heartfelt advice to future couples: never settle when choosing a venue. Trust your instincts, and when you find the one, you’ll know it in your heart.
Crafting Custom Magic: The Something Borrowed Room
Our Something Borrowed Room is a popular choice for couples who choose 22 Acres Farm as their wedding venue. However, one thing many people learn is that the “borrowed” aspect extends beyond what the name implies. Other couples generously donated many of our items to show gratitude and continue the tradition of paying it forward.
Additionally, we work closely with couples to ensure that their decorations perfectly align with their dreams. If there is a vision, we will find a way. For Morgan and Joshua, we crafted a stunning hexagon “arch,” aligning with their vision and setting the stage for an unforgettable ceremony.
Welcoming a New Chapter
In the midst of wedding planning, a delightful surprise awaited Morgan and Joshua: the news of their impending parenthood. Embracing the journey together, they walked down the aisle with joyful anticipation, eagerly awaiting the arrival of their baby girl. Those who attended were thrilled to celebrate the happy couple’s union, and the growth of their family.
A Heartfelt Thank You
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Morgan and Joshua for allowing us at 22 Acres Farm to provide the setting for their special day. Witnessing their love story unfold in the beautiful surroundings of our venue was truly an honor, and we hope they experience a lifetime filled with love and happiness.
