Amber and Blake: The Union of a Family

At 22 Acres Farm, we take great pride in creating unforgettable wedding experiences tailored to each couple, especially when it involves the beautiful union of a family. Amber and Blake’s celebration was a touching display of love, connection, and togetherness as two families became one. We were honored to be part of their heartfelt journey—witnessing the blending of traditions, the deepening of bonds, and the love that filled the day.

True Love Starts Here

Blake and Amber’s love story began as most of us would dream—with food. They met working alongside each other in a pizza restaurant and quickly began their journey together. Over the course of eight years, they became best friends, parents to their children, both by blood and bond, and grew as individuals as well.

Framed by the open barn doors and a simple wooden arch adorned with burnt orange and cream drapery, newlyweds share a quiet moment before their ceremony. The tree-lined driveway and split rail fence highlight the farm’s peaceful countryside charm.
Under the curved metal roof of the newly built grain bin gazebo, a groom lifts his bride in a joyful embrace as they kiss. The bride’s boho bouquet features dried florals and terracotta-toned accents, echoing the couple’s earthy, minimal wedding style.

Their children played a pivotal part in their love story and engagement:

“The older children have spent half their lives with us together… Blake had actually involved the kids with asking me to marry him!”

The newlyweds pose with their children outside the barn, radiating joy and unity. Their kids, dressed in coordinating light and dark tones, stood proudly beside them throughout the day, reflecting the deep family bond woven into this celebration.

This thoughtful gesture provides a glimpse into how strong their family already was—only to become closer with time. While Amber watched a short video Blake had sent her, he was down on one knee behind her preparing for the moment that would bring their family together forever.

As evening falls, the barn and grain bin gazebo glow with string lights under a cloudy sky. The expansive lawn and soft rural landscape set the stage for an alcohol-free reception centered on conversation, connection, and simple pleasures.

Preparing for the Union of a Family

When asked which detail they were most looking forward to on their wedding day, it was decided: the ceremony! Both were excited to share this special time with their kids as well.

Amber was especially looking forward to seeing her groom’s reaction as she came down the aisle. When the much-anticipated moment arrived, no one could deny the pure love outpouring from the groom’s eyes. It is clear as day the love they have for one another is unmatched and without end.

Love and Pizza

Wedding planning is a delicate balance—while it brings excitement and joy, it can also come with challenges. One of the biggest stressors is finding a venue that not only accommodates guests comfortably but also provides the perfect atmosphere for a heartfelt celebration of love and unity.

Thankfully, 22 Acres Farm offers multiple ceremony locations. Amber and Blake chose our spacious Barn for exchanging their vows, where the stunning countryside created the perfect setting for their unforgettable day of blending traditions and bringing loved ones together.

Guests watch as a couple exchanges exchange vows under draped beams and twinkle lights inside the 22 Acres Farm barn. The rustic venue’s high ceilings and open-air doors create an inviting setting for this intimate, family-centered ceremony.

As the first couple to use our grain bin gazebo, Visual Storytelling & Co captured tender, breathtaking moments. They shared a moment in the enchanting atmosphere created by this secluded spot.

As twilight sets in, the barn and grain bin gazebo are fully aglow with romantic twinkle lights. This peaceful evening moment captures the couple’s choice to keep their wedding heartfelt and unhurried, surrounded by natural beauty.

Another important decision Amber and Blake made was in choosing to commemorate their union with an alcohol-free reception. Many couples opt for this choice as it significantly reduces costs. Our Honey Hive Beverage Trailer is available for all couples wishing to serve drinks at their reception.

The couple shares their first dance beneath the barn’s wooden rafters, framed by the ceremony arch behind them. Guests seated at nearby tables watch with smiles, soaking in the love-filled atmosphere of this simple yet deeply personal celebration.

Waltzing into the Future

Joy and love filled the air as guests of all ages—from the youngest babes to the well-seasoned lovebirds—came together to celebrate The Union of a Family. Friends and loved ones surrounded the couple with unwavering support, marking the beginning of their lifelong journey of love and togetherness. It was a beautiful moment of uniting hearts and blending families, as everyone gathered to witness and cherish this special day.

A sweetheart table for two sits tucked against the barn wall, decorated with soft greenery, white taper candles, and rust-colored accents. Pampas grass in amber-toned vases adds texture to the design, tying into the couple’s rustic-boho theme.

To bring their story full circle, they served pizza at their reception. Bringing a joyous “start” to their romance, Amber and Blake decorated their lives as deliciously as possible.
