Amber and Blake: The Union of a Family
Here at 22 Acres Farm, we aspire to create the ideal wedding day for each of our couples. We were incredibly grateful to have been able to achieve this as part of Blake and Amber’s special day.
True Love Starts Here
Blake and Amber’s love story began as most of us would dream—with food. They met working alongside each other in a pizza restaurant and quickly began their journey together. Over the course of eight years, they became best friends, parents to their children, both by blood and bond, and grew as individuals as well.
Their children played a pivotal part in their love story and engagement:
“The older children have spent half their lives with us together… Blake had actually involved the kids with asking me to marry him!”
This thoughtful gesture provides a glimpse into how strong their family already was—only to become closer with time. While Amber watched a short video Blake had sent her, he was down on one knee behind her preparing for the moment that would bring their family together forever.
Preparing for their Farm Wedding
When asked which detail they were most looking forward to on their wedding day, it was decided: the ceremony! Both were excited to share this special time with their kids as well.
Amber was especially looking forward to seeing her groom’s reaction as she came down the aisle. When the much-anticipated moment arrived, no one could deny the pure love outpouring from the groom’s eyes. It is clear as day the love they have for one another is unmatched and without end.
Love and Pizza
As always, there must be a balance in all things. With all the positives associated with wedding planning, there are also plenty of stresses. One common, stress-causing aspect of wedding planning is ensuring that the space can accommodate guests, while also providing just the right setting for the reception.
Thankfully, Venue @ 22 offers multiple ceremony locations, accommodating a variety of arrangements and party sizes. Blake and Amber’s ceremony was held inside our spacious Barn, with the beautiful countryside as their backdrop.
Many were in joyous celebration, ranging from the youngest babe to the well-seasoned lovebirds. Friends and loved ones showered the couple with love and support as Amber and Blake began their journey as husband and wife.
To bring their story full circle, they served pizza at their reception. Bringing a joyous “start” to their romance, Amber and Blake decorated their lives as deliciously as possible.
