The Wedding Dreams of Morgan and Drew

At 22 Acres Farm, nothing brings us more joy than helping bring the wedding dreams of our couples to life. Last fall, surrounded by family and friends, Morgan and Drew joined in blissful union.

Their Love Story

The story of Morgan and Drew began when they were both teenagers. Though the couple went to different high schools, that did not prevent their paths from crossing. Over the years, they ended up taking interest in one another. In 2015, Morgan ended up attending one of Drew’s baseball games, ultimately initiating a spark between the two. Drew recalls:

“I sealed the deal with a dinner date and some ice cream and we began dating in 2016. She’s been madly in love with me ever since. ;)”

The Proposal

When Drew’s original plan to propose overlooking beautiful downtown Columbus didn’t pan out, he had to get creative. In front of their Christmas tree on December 23rd, Drew got down on one knee and asked Morgan to be his wife. Eager to start their forever, this happy couple started planning their happily ever after.

A Vision Brought to Life

For so many, their wedding day is a day they have dreamed about for years. It is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to live out your fairy tale dreams—whatever they may be. Near Columbus, Ohio, this couple fell in love with 22 Acres Farm.

Drew especially liked our “beautiful location that is close to our family [and friends]. We loved the venue owners and had faith in their vision.” With a U-Haul full of dreams and a venue space perfect to house them, Morgan and Drew’s wedding day ideas took shape.

The Details

Morgan and Drew said “I-Do” outside, taking in the stunning fall beauty that surrounded them. When asked what moment they most looked forward to, Drew couldn’t wait “to see Morgan come down the aisle.” Surrounded by their closest family and friends, this beautiful couple joined their lives together that beautiful autumn day.

Mirroring a more traditional theme, the couple used our upper floor. Guests enjoyed a catered dinner, formal dances, speeches and toasts before moving the party downstairs. Our lower level and patio area were the perfect space for the rest of the night’s activities. A cute mobile bar provided by Short & Stout handled the drinks, and a DJ played music into the night.
