Remember to only add the items that you know for sure you will use. It's easier to grab a few items when needed than to pull everything "just in case".
When you arrive on your day, the items that you've ordered will be on a table on the lower level. Your decorating team will be responsible for taking those items to their designated places. Our team members will move the large items (arch, whiskey barrels, etc.).
Please remind your decorating team that these items must remain in the state that they are received. The items are needed for upcoming weddings and when they are torn, broken, or ripped, another bride won't have them to use. For example, please don't rip leaves off of the greenery garland, tear the table number cards, etc. The flameless candles are real wax candles (they look real!) so when they are dropped, they break.
Also, please let the clean up team know about the decor that you are borrowing. Sometimes, your helpers do not know that you have borrowed decor and start gathering everything to be placed in vehicles. At 10pm, our team members will start gathering the Something Borrowed decor. Rest assured that we do know what is ours and yours. :) If there is an item in question, we will ask before is to taken back to the Something Borrowed room. After all items are checked back into the Something Borrowed room, I will let the Decision Maker for the Day know if everything is returned or if we need to search for an item(s).
We welcome decor items to add to the Something Borrowed room. Our decor room allows the wedding budget to be stretched and many, many couples appreciate this service. We will never ask for decor to be left; however, if you want to donate or pay it forward, it is appreciated by us and future couples.
Let us know if you have any questions!
