The Countryside Love Story of Tiffany + Chris
Tiffany and Chris’s countryside love story began as kids riding the same school bus. Like many childhood friendships, they eventually drifted apart—but fifteen years later, they reconnected over wine. That simple decision sparked the love story of a lifetime, culminating in a heartfelt countryside wedding just outside Columbus, Ohio.
After some time had passed, Tiffany and Chris decided to move in together. As their relationship progressed, so did their love for one another. Naturally, the time was near for their relationship to grow.
A Romantic Proposal
One afternoon, Chris suggested a picnic in the countryside behind their home. But unbeknownst to Tiffany, Chris had a little plan up his sleeve. After the couple settled in under a big, beautiful tree, they began enjoying their picnic together. In the distance, they could see a storm rolling in, but Chris encouraged the two to stay and finish their meal. Out of nowhere, the rain began to pour, and lightning and thunder filled the sky.
As Tiffany began hurriedly cleaning up, Chris seized his opportunity and asked her to wait a moment while he got down on one knee. Almost instantaneously after the proposal, the storm cleared, leaving behind the most beautiful rainbow—an amazing evening for two who are very much in love.
Planning Their Special Day
When it came to planning their wedding day, Tiffany and Chris wanted to go with a simple countryside look and feel. Tiffany had been following 22 Acres Farm for some time and shared that it fit that natural countryside style they were going for.
Happy Ever After
The bride originally planned to ride into the ceremony on horseback, but, like their romantic proposal, mother nature had other plans. Fortunately, this beautiful white Percheron from Stowell Family Farms joined the couple for stunning, romantic photos.
When asked what advice she would give to other couples visiting 22 Acres Farm, Tiffany shared:
“Wake up and always have the best day of your life. Never give up on your dreams. Love hard and never look back.”
And, with her sweetheart by her side, this beautiful bride did just that!
