Paige + Drew’s Romantic Autumn Wedding

To Have and To Hold

If you’ve been reading any of our other Love Stories & Beautiful Weddings, you will learn quickly that 22 Acres Farm loves LOVE. This makes this love story another favorite of ours. Paige and Drew’s story began as a setup, years after meeting for the first time. While they had spent time together many times in the past in group settings, timing never quite lined up for the two.

Years passed, and Paige and Drew were both fed up with lousy relationships. It was at this point when Paige’s best friend and Matron of Honor had the brilliant idea of setting the two up—an idea she clearly wouldn’t regret.

After the two initially connected on social media, they began texting back and forth, getting to know each other better. When out celebrating her best friend’s birthday, the two hung out on a more personal level and things just clicked. And the kicker? The timing couldn’t have been more perfect.

Making it Official

For their one-year anniversary, Paige and Drew booked a photo session to celebrate their time together as a couple. Unbeknownst to Paige, their good friend and photographer slipped Drew a ring midsession so he could propose—all while capturing such a special moment in their lives together.

In love and excited to move forward as husband and wife, Paige said, “Yes!” and this happy couple got busy planning. Upon finding 22 Acres Farm, Paige and Drew shared,

The Planning

With a rustic, boho, and casual feel in mind, the couple had a lot of options to choose from in our Something Borrowed Room—a complimentary offering for our couples. This provided beautiful options for the vision they had for a more affordable approach.

Paige and Drew wanted to keep things simple, and we were happy to help make that possible. They hired a mobile bartender and a caterer to take away just a little more of that stress.

Time to Celebrate

Paige and Drew exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony surrounded by loved ones with the focus right where it should be—on their love for one another. The ceremony overlooked the gorgeous countryside surrounding our Barn, still abloom with wildflowers on this warm and beautiful fall day.

Paige and Drew couldn’t wait to be married and were most looking forward to “celebrating with family at the reception,” and we were thrilled to see them do just that. A DJ kept the music going, and guests danced the night away with the happy couple.
